Headaches and Remedies

Anyone have any good suggestions for our mom-to-be regarding headaches? Jackie needs some good advice as to how to avoid them or treat them once they hit.

Hello there -parents to be- When i was pregnant i got headaches too. what helped me was drinking lots of water. Hope it works:) ... But did you check your blood pressure? sometimes it could go up with pregnancy and that causes headaches. (you probably know all this by now!):)

Uncle Jeff had some pretty cool Pressure point stuff he showed me a long time ago (on the top of the hand and at the bridge of your nose).
Not so good to prevent the headaches, but works nicely to dilute them once arrived, and without drugs!

Andy as you know I always get headaches/migraines and with being pregnant I think they are worse.
Well I found that acupuncture has not only been helping with some of the cramping/stretching but with my headaches too, so they have been way less.
I also have talked with both of my OBGYNs and they said as long as you only take Excedrin or Tylenol once in a while, eat before and drink plenty of water then it is not harmful. Of course check with your dr, but I honestly had no idea I was able to take anything at all.
Good luck!
