Summer in Snoqualmie

With the summer bearing down on Snoqualmie with sweltering 50 degree weather and rain, Ian's been spending a lot of time inside. He quickly learned that we had a drawer just for him. Unfortunately, he hasn't learned to clean up after himself.
Ian is also exploring the world of silverware. Sometimes he actually gets food in his mouth.

He's sure to celebrate each successful bite.

Our bike rides tend to really tire out the little guy.

Ian had a couple of his friends over while Jackie babysat for the Waggoners. What's the best way to impress twin girls? That's right, tell them you're a pilot and show off your plane.

As Ian is well practiced in feeding himself, he thought he'd show off his skills to Pops. First, you stick the cantaloupe on the fork.

Next, open wide!

Bingo!

As Ian continues to discover all the wonders of the world, occasionally he needs to rest. What better place to rest your tired bones than in the dishwasher.

One fish, two fish. Nunu fish, Ian fish.

Ian's latest hobby is to sit on things. The cat at the Watson's, Jackie's head, or the closest toy. Everything is fair game. Today, he thought he'd climb up on his table and take a seat.

As he is always willing to jump in an help out, Ian thought it would be good to help with the dishes. Safety first in this house! (And yes, that is a knife on the floor below him.)

Here Dad, let me get you a mug for your coffee.

Straws. Oh my how Ian loves straws. Here he inspects his latest stash.

Ian's getting into his riding toys now that he's big enough to climb on and off unassisted. Pushing himself around is a bit of a challenge, but he'll get the hang of it soon enough.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. As we begin our descent, please ensure you fill your diaper and spit out whatever that was you just picked up off the floor. Thanks for flying the stinky skies.
